This product is effective temporary solution to a flat, but the effectiveness is not uniform. Some cans work great, some don't

I had a slow leak in my rear tire. I mean 1-2 psi a week. I could not find a nail, etc. in the tread, so I thought it might be that the tire isn't sealing well around the rim. A can of Fix-A-Flat took care of the issue. No more slow leak. That was about 3 months ago and the leak is still sealed. The product is pretty easy to use and sealed the leak immediately. And, for a much lower cost than other options.

Big boy sized can of fix a flat. This stuff saved my butt on a cross country trip from California to South Carolina. I was in Oklahoma and was so far away from everyone else I knew and didn't have enough money for a tow truck in my budget and I didn't have the spare lug wrench and jack handle for replacing my tire. I put this stuff in a tire that had the tread torn from it and it got me 20mi down the road to the next town where we got our tire replaced. It worked and did what it's supposed to do and did it well.I'm going on another cross country trip so I definitely picked up a big can of this stuff just in case.

Don't have weight on the tire when you use this. I find this works great on dryrotted tires for the rest of the tires life. If I have a puncture I will be sure to plug first. I imagine this only works on small holes

This came to me defective. I followed the instructions and shook the can vigerously for 30 minutes and then hooked it up to my tire. As soon as I pushed the button, the stuff inside the can sprayed all over the place. I popped off the spray button and reseated it and still had the same issue. I finally got some to flow through the hose but because so much was coming out near the button, there wasn't enough pressure to push it into the tire. This item is not returnable so I'm out ten bucks and still have a flat tire.

Keep a can of Fix a Flat on hand in case of a puncture on my riding lawn mower tires.Fix a Flat, plus a puncture repair kit, keeps my mowers on the job, reduces down time, and allows me to finish the job. Fixed my tired, but it wasn't the easiest to secure onto the tire valve. I used it in approximately 40 degree weather and it seems to have done the trick. Just be sure to take it to a shop to get inspected afterward.
