This flag pole works best with a flag that has embroidered stars, not silk screened stars, because the material has enough weight in the wind to prevent it from getting tangled on the pole. This week the wind gusts were up to 30 mph. My flag never tangled. My neighbor has the same pole but a flimsy flag so their flag gets caught on the end of pole.

Nice looking pole and it's pretty much tangle free but didn't last. I had mine out for about nine months and one of the mounting points broke through. EDIT: I'm raising my review as I was able to purchase parts to repair it.

All pieces were manufactured properly so that each piece fits as expected. I like that the flag holder has two different positions. Very sturdy, forgot to take it down before a wind storm and everything was still intact without any damage. Versatile and can accommodate different size flags. This is a nice set that looks great and holds up to all kinds of weather

I like this flag pole very much. I replaced a wooden pole with this one. Seems very sturdy. I like that it can be adjusted to fit different size flags also. I would buy it again if I needed another.

I ordered the flagpoles to mount on our front porch. They are incredibly well built and finished. Our flags fly without getting caught up. I was just absolutely delighted and would recommend it to anyone looking for a flag pole.
