After buying thousands of products on Amazon, this one is probably one of the best items I’ve ever purchased. The item worked perfectly as described when repairing a picture frame. Most importantly the packaging was EASY to open and reuse to store away to next time. Why can’t other products use easy opening packaging like this? Very happy with product.

If you’re reglazing old windows that have glazing pins like triangles in them (if you know you know), this makes replacement a breeze. My families 1920s lake house has wavy glass casement windows that need regular repainting and glazing and not wanting to break the gorgeous glass means it takes me a while to do 6 panes in each window. I carefully coax the pane out, sand down the clear cedar frame and put the panes back in using new pins and this tool. It’s the best thing I bought all summer and I highly recommend it to anyone glazing windows.

Right? Why isn't this tool magnetic?? If there was ever a need for a magnetized tool to hold super small items...it's this tool. You're welcome.

I ran into a problem with a picture frame I'd purchased when the metal tabs that hold the mats and backing in place succumbed to metal fatigue and broke off. Through Amazon I'd purchased a package of glazer points, but when I received them, I had no idea how I would get them into the frame. The problem was compounded with the fact the frame wasn't real wood, but a wood composite material that is significantly denser. That's when I went back to Amazon and found this tool. It arrived in good time and condition with a small container of glazer points, which I hadn't expected. The driver tool is solidly constructed and not flimsy at all. While there was a brief learning curve, the tool worked perfectly in pushing the points into the wood composite. It does take some hand strength, but far less than I'd anticipated. I highly recommend this tool to anyone in a similar situation, or who makes their own frames.

I wish I had known about this tool years ago. I buy all my frames at thrift stores and they often don't have backs, or the hardware holding the back into the frame is broken. I've always done terrible things with duct tape and household objects, trying to get backing to stay in place. This little tool is so easy to use and makes neat work of securing a backing into a frame. You just shove the points into the frame; nothing to it. You can also use it to pry the points out and replace things. I'm so glad I got this.

I was going to buy one of those fancy point staple guns, but they are pretty pricy if you are only doing 5 or so pictures. This worked fine and it was very easy to push the points in by hand. They hold the foam core in without issues and are easy to remove if there's an issue.

If you buy this don't guess which glazer points work best. It will come with a supply and you can order that style when you need replacements. I bought the wrong ones and they still work just more difficult to use.
