Originally designed for trucks and SUV's, it is also well suited to muscle car and high performance applications. In addition, the larger case size significantly reduces interior resonance and provides a deep, rich tone along with mileage and power gains. Constructed of 16 gauge aluminized steel and fully MIG welded for maximum durability.

Classic Flowmaster sound, just less of it. Because I was tired of having to turn my truck off at the drive through to order my food.

I did not like this Muffler it was way too loud in the cab. Whenever it went into overdrive you just couldn't stand it with your ears I had to take it back off. I only had it on a couple days because we were going on a long trip. It's laying here in my garage with the stickers on it. The stickers aren't even burnt off! It's. A waste of money because we can't use it. Off of a 2017 chevy Silverado!

This muffler was exactly what I was looking for. Perfect sound but not too logs and obnoxious. Better performance noticed immediately.

Picked this up to quiet my F150 down after six years of running glasspacks. Great sound at idle and still sounds good under load but way more bearable when doing 80 on the highway.

Bought this to replace a Flowmaster 44 muffler that was way too loud on my 2010 Dodge Ram 2500. The Super 50 is just laid enough but quiet enough to enjoy your ride.

Actually pretty tame and not terribly loud at idle, but once you get on the throttle it loses its modestly deep tone and gets pretty darn raspy. I'm currently avoiding the top half of my rev range because my car sounds like it has a cherry bomb on it up there. For reference, this is on a '94 RX-7.

Did my research and decided on the Flowmaster Super 50 for my 05 Chevy Avalanche 5.3 V8. Nice deep rumble and almost quite (in cab) at cruising speed. Little drone noticed in cab but it helps to dump the pipes out in the rear. My 3rd Flowmaster purchase. The 40 series give too much cab drone. Nice idle rumble, and barks when you open the throttle.

I bought one of these mufflers approximately 10 years ago and have had real good service with it. Gives off a smooth yet kind of rumbling sound from my truck engine. I think the original muffler would still be fine with the exception of the separation between the exhaust portion and the tail pipes. Yes....it had rusted into with about 1/2" gap between the muffler and the pipe. I decided to go ahead and replace it along with my catalytic converter and tail pipes. I do like the sound of the muffler and the service I've had from it. The price isn't too bad either. I figured with 338,000 miles....it would be good to go ahead and change my converter too.
