My package and the box the bulb came in was absolutely crushed. I was hoping that the bulb wasn’t as well. As you can see I got very lucky and just the box was ruined, the bulb was just fine.

I have tried a couple of night time bulbs for my red slider. The Fluker seems to work best for my needs.

The heat light bulb exploded over my dragon's cage raining glass shards all over the place. This is not an old item, we only had it for a week.

I've this lightbulb for only a few weeks, turn it on about 6 hours a night. This morning I woke up to the bulb shattered, still in the dome, red glass in my 50 gallon aquarium with my turtle. Fortunately, he does not have any visible injuries. I'm watching him closely. Very disappointed ☹️ originally was a great basking light, but this is dangerous.

These 250 watt lamps suck! They keep burning out waaaayyyy too quickly. I don't know if it's all of the Fluker's, but the 250 watt ones definitely suck. The Zoo Med 100 and 150 watt bulbs I've used last a lot longer. On average, the 100 watt Zoo Meds last 3-4 times longer than the Fluker 250's. What sucks even more is that the Fluker 250's cost a lot more than the Zoo Meds I got. The lower wattages may be good, but be forewarned, stay away from the 250's like they were Haribo Sugar Free Gummi Bears.
