Item ground up about 1oz of meat and immediately clogged. At which point it started squeezing the blood from the meat inside and leaking. Fortunately, this was easy to remedy. Simply unscrew the rod on the bottom that secures it to the mounting surface, and throw the entire device in the trash. Then feed the remaining pieces of beef to your happy canine friends.On a serious note, I did open the item in an attempt to remove the clog, only to find metal shavings throughout the meat that was blocking the output. I would not recommend this product for that exact reason.
