These blades are SHARP and hold an edge. I have run a couple of hundred board feet of rough sawn red oak through this set and there is no sign of slowing down, the cuts are silky smooth, and I am experiencing no tear out, even around knots.I would recommend the TIN coated blade over the High Speed Steel, I have used both and the TIN coated just seem to wear better.

These blade serve as a great aftermarket replacement blades for the DeWalt DW735/735X thickness planer. They fit and swap out, and while I've only put one piece of wood through the planer, the finish quality is great! There is an edge on both sides so once the initial side wears down, I can turn them 180 degrees for another cutting edge. great value!!!

Excellent blades for the 735. No issues so far. The price is reasonable and the blades look nice as well. I can't tell if the coating is helping but my cuts have been fantastic so far. They come packaged in a standard case with standard grease to prevent rust.

These blades are an exact fit for my DeWalt 735 planer. They advertise that the blades are steel coated withTitanium. While that's nice, the only place were it would matter is on the blade edge.I put these blades into my planer and ran some wood through. It planes fine, just like the DeWalt blades. The question I can't answer right now is "How long will they last?" It's going to take some time for me to be able to answer that. If it looks like the edges fail too quickly, I'll update this review - but right now, I'm optimistic.

Im not fully convinced these are actually titanium as they react strongly with a magnet in my shop.
