I bought this to replace one I got from Real Avid because all the teeth snagged and broke off upon using it.This one from Ozark Armament is considerably better quality; the thickness and shape of the prongs/teeth are much more robust and well fitting, and the gripping surface/handle is much easier to hold on to, which was necessary in my case as the sight post was very stubborn.I only needed it for the A2 side and it worked flawlessly for that, but I have to give 4 stars due to the A1 side which had a very noticeably bent tooth that required me to use pliers to straighten, and it took a minute to actually insert it onto the sight post as the fit was VERY tight, but it did work.It was shipped without any packing materials whatsoever, so I would think bent teeth are not uncommon, but it is a minor problem that's easy to fix at least.

I bought this to adjust the front sight (A2-style) on my Bear Creek Armory AR clone because my shot groups were going 6"-8" too high, having run out of adjustment with the A3-style carry handle/rear sight to get the groups on target.I'm happy to say that the this tool works perfectly to get the necessary adjustment to the front sight, which came from the factory (this was good) at its lowest position, allowing me to move it upward, taking approximately 1/8" of unscrewing to get my groups where they should be.The tool is steel with a black oxide finish for rust resistance, and it has one end with five prongs for A1-style front sights and the other end with four prongs for A2-style front sights, with knurling to make it easier to grip.Just so that I would have it close at hand, I put the tool in the finger of an oversized nitrile glove, then stuffed it into the hollow pistol grip of my AR.

I have struggled with methods other than an adjustment tool. I have struggled with the Real Avid adjustment tool. After much frustration it was back to searching for something else. I came across the Ozark Armament Tool on Amazon and ordered it because it just looked better. I made the right choice, this tool actually fits my sight and works the way it is supposed to. If your current adjustment tool does not fit your sight because the diameter seems too large them give this on a try, it was a game changer for me.
