Heavy, thick leather which is nicely shaped and well stitched. I bought it to use as a maintenance/handyman tool holder; I’m not an electrician. The leather on this one is just slightly more dry than I’d like from a new piece, but it has a good size and shape for my tools and my usage and it does seem like top grain leather to me. It’ll take some more time breaking in, is all.Also it’s much better quality than any of the big brands out there, like Maguire Nicholas or box store house brands, and it doesn’t have a weird clip which will wear out before the rest of the pouch.It might or might not not be the same quality as an Occidental pouch—I’ve never seen one—but it will definitely last. Would buy again… but probably won’t have to.
