Long story short plastic cracks immediately. The original ones for 97 TJ are metal, these are plastic all of these broke when installing. I swear I was being slow and gentle, used silicon spray lube still snapped. I made it work with them cracked I’ve got metal one on the way thankfully. The good ones are 18.99 but worth it

I destroyed them putting them in, no instructions in box. Evidently I didn't know what I was doing. They are junk now.

Liners are plastic so they won't corrode in hinge. Removal tool is useless for removing factory metal liner. To remove factory metal liner use small screw driver and hammer to break it from the hinge.
