Cheaply made; extension wings flap freely and tend to stay closed when inserted into compost pile, thereby not being effectively functioning. They should have a spring attached such as a v-shaped torsion spring to persuade them to spread in the open position after insertion into the pile, but of course, that would have added an extra dollar to the manufacturing process. Pretty useless.
