These switches are amazing, I had never used linear switches but my co-workers were getting tired of my loud clicky Cherry MX Greens so I figured I would give these a try. They are super smooth and while there is no tactile bump, click, or anything they have a really nice feel and decent pressure which is why I have loved my MX Greens so much.

Not going to lie, I'm a bit disappointed in these. I really love most types of Gateron Yellow I've tried, but these ones don't quite do it for me. They are definitely a quiet switch, but the feeling of them is a bit mushy to me. They don't feel the most consistent between the switches either. I was picking up a bit of scratchiness on some of them.I mean, yes, they are cheap for what they are. Which is great. And they sound pretty decent, mostly if you're trying to go for a muted board. But I just don't think the feel on these is that good, and would encourage more towards the Milky Yellows or the Pros.*Edit: These perform a lot better with a hand lube job. Lubing these really transforms them into a far smoother switch. My rating still stands, but if you do have these, a little lube helps them a lot.

I am a clicky switch kinda guy through and through. We're talking blue switches AT MINIMUM. However, the time was due that I set up a linear rig, not because I was concerned about my coworkers, library-goers, family and friends being irritated with the glorious sounds of my productivity (Don't you ever let anyone shame you about loud switches, EVER. This is your GOD GIVEN RIGHT and don't ever forget it), but because, like the artist who buys a better pen hoping he will do better art, or a photographer buying a better camera hoping he will make better photos, I wished to see how much my lackluster gaming skills could be improved via hardware.Well, I'm here to say that these switches didn't catapult me into the MLG, but they are quite usable and of a high quality. The switches come nicely pre-lubed, which I greatly appreciate since I hate doing that. I mounted them in a very cheap 40% board, which was so much fun because it wasn't hot-swappable. After a few basic modifications to improve things as much as possible, I was pleased to find that all of the switches worked flawlessly.I don't know that I'm really going to change my ways from tactile and clicking switches, but these are really nice. Despite being linear, they don't feel... mushy, like many of the tired old boards that an employer will try to foist on you, as if the interface between man and machine means nothing. They are great for gaming, and despite my bravado, it is probably good that the most portable keyboard in my inventory is also the quietest. You never know when you'll have to do some clandestine hacking atop an elevator car or within earshot of patrolling security. Well, you pretty much do, but the option to not draw attention to oneself is nice now and then.

I'm new and just trying switches. These feel pretty good. The feel stays the same through the whole stroke.

I'm bit of a wild child and use for a variety of different switches across my keyboard, and find myself switching the amount here and there to try a new style or get a different feel for what I like. These pre lubed Gatoron jade yellow switches have such a satisfying feel and sound, all thanks to them being lubed from factory. I'm one of those keyboard people that lube all my own switches typically, but I felt that these didn't need anything extra on top of what they had and just feel delightful!Well not exactly my color way, these switches are hidden underneath key caps so it's not like I'm staring at them,

The Gateron Yellow switches are one of my favorite linear switches. They are considered one of the best budget linear switches by many mechanical keyboard enthusiasts. I have them in two of my keyboards and they are awesome. So what is different about the Gateron Jade Series? The switches look pretty similar on the outside, except that the casing of the jade switches is a pretty pale green color. The switch itself is designed to defuse light well, which is always a plus. The packaging is nice as well. Sometimes switches come packaged just thrown into a bag, which results in a few bent pins. The packaging of the Gateron Jade Series 3.0 is perfect. And it can be reused for storing your other mechanical switches. While the difference between the Yellow 3.0 and the Jade are subtle, they do in fact feel different. The best way for me to describe them is that they have more “bounce” to them as I type, while providing a deeper sound. The Jade switches, like its name, do have a more marbly sensation - they feel a little bit like you are typing on jade pebbles.I really like the way they feel. I still love my Gateron Yellow 3.0, but I also really like the Jade Series, which feels similar but different. I will definitely buy these again.

I'm still pretty new to linears, I'm a tactile person normally, but tried a handful. My impressions so far have been that these are a little stiffer/firm than the other linears I've been using, quieter maybe thockier. They perform well, haven't given me any drama. I think if I had to categorize them compared to everything else I've tried, kind of a thocky quiet side of mid? Stems don't seem to wobble. They do feel pretty smooth, didn't notice any scratchiness. Did play well with RGB. Colorway is really cute, ymmv. I think they're a decent value for the price.
