This is a great product. Works well. Fits my kitchen aid pro perfectly. There is a little “education” time needed to attach the paddle. A few times and I got the hang of it. We have to make lactose free ice cream so it has been a challenge to find products with enough fat to make the homemade version creamy. Substitute whipping cream and lactose free half and half are the trick. Yummy! Nice to make two batches out of one bowl freeze. Keep the bowl in the freezer so it is ready to use when you need it. Because of lactose needs it is not much less spendy than a store product but sure a lot more fun.

Today was the first time using the ice cream maker attachment, it took a second to figure out how to attach it to my nontilt head mixer but afterwards it made the best dole whip ice cream!!! Will definitely be using a lot more!!

It's a decent product but I wish the spinning part wasn't made out of plastic, I can already tell this part is going to fail with some wear and tear. We are lucky we have an extra freezer in the garage because this thing takes up a lot of room.

I live in Hawaii where we have a lot of fruit to make ice cream with so I purchased this item to try my hand. My first mistake was not to carefully inspect the inside of the Ice cream maker when I washed it. If I had, I might have noticed the bump on the inside of the pot. See the picture and look at the shadow at the 12 o'clock position. The second mistake I made was to assemble about 25$ of supplies to make Ice cream for a dinner party I am having shortly. Following the directions I started the maker and added the pre-chilled purée. At that point the clutch would engage and the paddle not turn. So much for plan A. Plan B was to hand turn the mix with a wooden spoon which sort of got the mix to a semi frozen glop. I might as well of been using an old hand crank set up. I am starting to wonder if my most basic mistake is continuing to buy the cheep, poorly designed and inspected items Amazon excels at offering us.

At first I loved this product. After some use strictly by directions, the metal inner bowl has developed bulges in it, causing the dasher to not turn freely. Very disappointing! Amazon was kind enough to issue a full refund, as product was still under 1 year warranty. I’ll be choosing a different brand.

I made coconut cream ice cream and this worked perfectly. It was easy to clean and was not noisy. It fits perfectly on my Kitchenaid Artisan. The price was much better than the original Kitchenaid ice cream maker. Definitely a good buy.
