The Gearelec Shark Pro Motorcycle Headset is a really cool piece of tech! It feels like it has a smooth silicone coating on everything. It is quite light at 1.8 oz. It’s proportions are pretty large at 4.003 inches long by 2.1165 inches by 0.980 inches thick. The microphone and the headphones are of good quality. It uses USB C for charging. The buttons are grippy.The design and shape of the headset is really cool and looks good on my helmet! While the buttons are easy enough to find with gloves on. I find that only the phone button is easy to depress. The power button and the mode button are too difficult to activate! The volume buttons are too squishy before they activate! All these buttons should be as easy as the phone button to activate to make this device very useful.There is also a microphone connection port on the bottom which also links to the headphones. How comfortable these are depends on how much space you have in your helmet for these. There isn’t much padding between you and the hard plastic of the headphones. I did like how this system is using Velcro to attach to the stickers so you can place the Velcro stickers where you want the microphone and headphones to go then attach the microphone and headphones.There is a mounting clip attachment as well as a mounting bracket that sticks onto the helmet to choose from. Either way this mounts securely to the helmet. Interestingly they included different color accent plates besides the blue accent plate. There is silver and red.I used these with my K3 Carbon helmet and it worked pretty well in connecting with my Samsung Galaxy S24 ultra and being able to hear music and make calls. The audio quality was really good coming out of the speakers and others could hear me just fine.

Speakers sound okay.Google assistant doesn't work regardless of troubleshooting. Which is one of the main reasons why I got it. Since the buttons are small and when you are wearing gloves it makes it near impossible to use any of its functions given the voice commands do not work.Callers have said that it sounds a little muffled but other than that decent.The clip mount doesn't get tight enough in my opinion. With very little effort you can move it or if you kept it clipped on you could take the whole thing off with ease.I should have saved up and spend the extra money to get something better.

My husband has a European adventure bike. Though most of his "adventures" are between our house and his clients' locations, many of these trips can be a distance away. Up until now, he always used his Apple AirPods Pro to listen to GPS directions, and the occasional quick phone call. His trips often take him along a road - remote at times - that runs next to the ocean. The noise from the breaking waves, the bike, and the air makes it difficult to hear his GPS instructions or to briefly talk with someone - e.g., let a client know his ETA - so when I saw this Bluetooth headset, I decided to order it for him.What a difference! No distracting background noise, so he can hear GPS instructions clearly without having to constantly look down at his iPhone to confirm what he just barely heard. The noise reduction is significant but it still allows him to hear sirens, car horns, etc. He's called me a few times and you'd never even know he was on his bike, 100 feet from noisy waves, and going 60 mph.Also, the installation was a breeze. No glitches. As for the fit, he has the full-face Shoei RF1400 helmet, and the headset components fit perfectly on the exterior and interior. The device is firmly attached to the exterior and there's no physical discomfort in the interior.As for sound quality, is it on par with Bose, Harmon Kardon, or Bang & Olufsen? No :) But, the sound is clear and has enough range and resonance that it's impressive for a value-priced headset, especially when you consider many headsets range between $100 and $300. It gets the job done admirably.As for the voice assistant when connecting to the headset, the language is English and the speaker has a slight Chinese accent, but the voice is clear and direct. No issues whatsoever, but wanted to mention it.So far, the battery charge is comparable to what the manufacturer states. As for the lifespan of the battery and the headset, impossible to guess, but the quality is there, so hopefully the lifespan is too.Would my hubby recommend it to a friend or family member? He would without hesitation if they were looking for a headset that doesn't break the bank.Would I recommend it to someone concerned about the safety of a loved one who's riding long distances? Absolutely.Just one note... if we were taking a long, remote adventure trip, and the Bluetooth headset was crucial to our voyage and safety, he said he'd get a backup of this headset, only because there are no long-term reviews at this time to vouch for longevity, especially if you're riding in the elements much of the time. But, for everyday "adventures," it's a terrific headset and suits his needs.
