I have purchased many of the Geeni Camera's and other devices over the years. They work amazing and the customer service is fantastic when you need them. This particular camera works great in all weather conditions. Have recommended to many of my friends that are looking for Camera's. Will continue to buy Geeni products as needed

Works great, definitely gives us an ease of knowing we can see if someone stops by or when get a package delivered and if you go out of town a lot it’s definitely a good investment.

This is a good outdoor camera. It is easy to set up and use. The only issue I have is that some of the ads from the app to sign up for their services can get a little too much.

We now own three of these cameras. We like the clear picture and the night picture is surprisingly clear.

Image quality is very good on the video. Works well with the app. Notifications on the phone are within a very few seconds of something coming in it's field of vision. Speaking of the field of vision, it covers a wider area than I would have thought. You get a good 10-15 feet on either side of the "aimed" target of the camera. This was an unexpected bonus. The Works with Alexa feature don't seem to be working for me, but I am good with that. You can adjust the sensitivity to the motion that will turn it on - rain will do it at the most sensitive setting. You can easily set a schedule for it to record. You can also share the ability to see through the camera (although I have yet to use that feature)It has a speaker that you can talk via the phone app through. THAT is the only area of improvement this device needs. You cannot really hear the voice from 20 feet away. Although I have already bought another camera from this company. I would buy 2 more, without hesitation - if the speaker in the camera was better.Overall a great product. I highly recommend as it exceeded my expectations.

Unfortunately, I must give this product a generous 3-star rating. I purchased the Hawk-3 set (white), works well, however it is useless if needed as a warning system and have notifications on your phone because of its extreme sensitivity it sounds off every two seconds whenever an insect flies by or the leaves on a tree or bush move. Apparently the option to adjust the sensitivity is only available with the more expensive Hawk-2 model (black). I wish I had known this before buying and installing. Now I'm stuck with just a video monitor that does nothing for me.Follow up: I've downgraded my rating from 3 to 1 (0 if it were possible) The product is practically useless without being able to adjust motion detection. As it is I must have it off because otherwise I get notifications on my phone every time a fly or moth moves around. With motion detection off it is of no use to me. I tried to contact the company, I only got an automated email with a "ticket number" (8870508) over a month ago, no further contact. Under Product Description the company states "easily adjusted to match your preferred sensitivity", however,it appears this feature is not available on this model. I wish they would just say so and warn other customers who need this option for proper notifications.

I reside in a near wilderness area. Though there's never been a problem, I've always been concerned, worried, over security of my isolated home. No issues when I'm home, but groceries and hardware do have to be obtained necessitating brief trips to nearest town, leaving the home unattended. Have purchased three of these cams. AS LONG AS (this is critically important!) the installation of a camera is within range of an operating WIFI hub, these cameras work exceptionally well! Outstanding video in fact ... when compared to the blurry, useless black-and-white vid cams of the old days. Given the low costs, the resolution of these cams, is just amazing!! The IR night vision function also works very well. Will provide some numbers on that in the next day or so. The setup is somewhat difficult and 'tricky' (was for me anyway, at 80+) ... but even a very elderly person was able to network the cams successfully. One comment about setup, is that you MUST be very patient with the registration process for a camera. It can take several minutes for the hardware/software to do it's thing. Just sit back, relax and don't jump the gun thinking it isn't working. (As I was prone to doing.) Just give it time. Other available choices for this kind of service cost considerably more, and SO FAR, this hardware, the cameras, and the service, APPEAR to be of excellent quality. An aside: There's something almost 'other-worldly' about being as much as half-a-planet away, pulling up a phone app, and actually seeing your property at any hour of the night or day. Provides me with wonderful peace of mind ... without depending on distant and busy neighbors to keep watch on things.UPDATE:Now 2/24. After further experience with these cameras and the Geenie System .... I feel these cameras, their system, is about as perfect as can be reasonably had!!!! I now have six (with plans to add at least two more!!) of the cameras covering 80% of my property, including one inside my shop, roughly 75 yards from the house. It works properly and perfectly. The cameras connect to the internet via a major cell phone agency wireless 'brick' that works flawlessly. I can't say enough about the video resolution quality. The shop camera alerted recently, I quickly pulled up the camera feed, and saw nothing. Then, two small dots of bright light appeared in the image. They flicked off suddenly Continuing to watch .. turned out it was a mouse ... scurrying about, occasionally looking in the direction of the camera. His eyes were reflecting the IR light source causing the two bright spots in the image. And that is how sensitive and how well these cams and the Geenie system work. Note you have many controllable functions available, including a full range of audio too You may also add SD mem cards and RECORD imagery of all alerts. The recording resets and starts over once the card is filled ----- OR .... after a limited time period has elapsed. The IR source works very well. Though, as would be expected, the vision fades significantly after about 50 yards, but things are still recognizable even at that range. I plan on purchasing an IR floodlight source to ensure clearer coverage of my barnyard in the near future.Overall? Functionally? I would at this point, give a 10-star rating for the product if it was available! The only annoyance I've encountered is the fact that the system tallys the number of alerts, including false, or noise ones, and displays the number in a small circle over the app icon on the phone home screen. Have called cus.svc. and was told you cannot delete, or eliminate the count (it appears in a small red circle over the badge on the phone home screen). Guess they consider it important that you know how many times an insect, bird, or spider, ...OR a mouse .... has set off an alert. For me? Soi far? A near-ideal, very cost-effective solution for monitoring home and property from any place, near or far, on the planet that has cell phone service ... 24/7 !!!

The Geeni Hawk 3 outdoor, wifi security camera is low-cost and has checked all the boxes for my home security needs. The camera:• operates with no batteries to charge or change• plugs into a standard power receptacle (can’t be hardwired)• comes with a 15-foot cord• works with the free Geeni app on my Android phone & tablet• can be viewed live from anywhere using my computer browser or app or tablet• app controls video quality (SD or HD), motion sensitivity, indicator light, time mark on/off, video image flip, IR night vision on/off• using the app I can listen & speak through the camera• using the app I can capture still images or videos on my phone or tablet• user guide and online instructions covered all the topics I had questions aboutThere are no required monthly fees to pay. You can buy premium cloud services and instant notifications, but the features I need work fine without a subscription.IMPORTANT! You need to download a free app to measure your wifi signal strength. If you don’t have a stable and strong wifi signal at the point where your camera will be mounted, then you need to choose a wired security camera—not wifi wireless.Next, you should know how to change your wifi router settings. There’s a good chance you’ll need to rename the 2.45 GHz band on your router like I did in order to set up this camera. If your router doesn’t have a 2.45 GHz band, then this camera won’t work. The only downsides are the choppy captured video quality and the lack of instant notifications on my phone. When I play back or record video, the video is choppy in places. This might have to do with buffering on my network and the fact that the video is captured on the SD card inside the camera. Overall though, the video is good enough to get a fairly detailed picture of what’s going on in the alley outside my garage. I think instant notifications are a premium, pay-for service. I do see all the motion sensor notifications inside the app, and that’s good enough for me.Overall, this a good camera for a good price, and I’m going to buy another one for my front porch.
