Works great as an antenna base. I used sandbags to hold it steady. This was purchased at a good price ($26 I think).

Was supposed to be fulfilled by Amazon.ca but came from .comHad to reorder after they lost my first one in transit. Took 11 days even when they “expedited“ it. Once the replacement finally came, it was just as expected. Solid product if you can wait for it.

This is a very sturdy tripod. We used it to hold an indoor rectangular grid-style antenna that we wanted to be able to move or turn if necessary to bring in different stations on the TV, so we didn't want the antenna attached to a wall. It was the perfect solution for our needs. I don't have a picture of the setup, but here is a link to the antenna. It's the double one on the left at the link below. It attached easily to this tripod, and the tripod has adjustable legs so you can adapt to whatever floor space you have. The tripod also has a metal piece that goes through two holes in the pole after you have chosen the height you want, so you know it won't suddenly move. The antenna is very light weight compared to the the load that the tripod can hold.https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=Clearstream+antenna+picture

Very sturdy and easy to set up speaker stand. I worried when ordering it that it might not support the weight of our 35 pound speaker. It does and very well. I also feared that it might not be stable enough for our application as my group - The Original Class Act- performs a lot in nursing homes and hospitals where we are very close to our audience - many of whom use walkers, wheelchairs and canes. I was concerned that the old folks would knock it over or get tangled up in the legs So far they have not. I am very pleased with this product. A great addition to the sound equipment.

I have been using this to hold up my Mackie Thump powered speaker and it has been working wonderfully. In comparison to other stands that I have used in the past this one has been great to me. Nothing comes apart and it seems to have the strength to hold up something much heavier than the PA that I am using. If you've been on the edge about which brand to choose, get this one and save yourself some money.

We run an equipment rental company for party and events. My crews break stuff from time to time. The last set of speaker stands we bought were in excess of 150.00. This set is every bit as nice and has the thick tubing that we require to hold up even the heavier medium sized speakers. If my guys break another one in the near future I may even use it to mount them. Great deal, fast shipping. I can't reccommend more.Darick

I was skeptical about this because they seemed slimmer than my other speaker stands, but these stands have been sturdy. Also, they have given me more height than my other stands when inverted. Inverting other stands usually doesn't affect the height... but it does for these which I'm liking.

These tripods arrived the very next day after I order them. I wasn't expecting them for at least a week. What a pleasant surprise. They were double boxed and arrived in perfect condition. I don't have big speakers to place on them (just 10" woofers) so I don't how they'll handle larger 15" woofer speakers but judging from the quality of the tripod, I'm pretty sure they'll work just fine for larger, heavier speakers. Good buy for such a low price.UPDATE: They work perfectly fine with 15"s. Tight fit and a little hard to take off but what's important is that they can carry the load.
