Like all things Gibraltar I have experienced, this is a fantastic, sturdy clamp! For whatever reason, it cost me only $12 when I bought it on Amazon in Dec. 2013, making it an INCREDIBLE value! I use it on my hi-hat stand to mount a cowbell below my bottom hi-hat cymbal -- ROCK SOLID and super adjustable. I would still recommend it, even at $25!
