Got this for a Christmas gift, so haven't used yet. We already have the GA double hammock & bug net ( which are wonderful), and wanted to add this needed accessory to keep that hammock dry. The quality is so nice, upon our quick inspection. Packaged well, shipped fast, and quality for a great price. Will update if any changes when we get to open up fully, and put to use. I know our hammock and camping blanket from Gold Armour have worked great, which is why we do not hesitate to add their products to our camping gear. They have a good mission, seem to value customers, and make a quality product at a good price. They seem to be better quality than many of their competitors, without the high price tag. A win!

I used this for a 5 day hammock camping trip, worked great, I loved the size and how small it compacts down to. So much more efficient then regular tarps.

Used this tarp over our smaller tents and it kept us nice and dry during the rain.

I received my Gold Armor Rainfly today and so far I am please. It came with carrying bag and a stake bag as well, both bags have reflective string. The rainfly seems to be high quality and well stitched. There are 29 attached points for trying down the fly, which make it versatile. It came with 4 metal stakes and 6 reflective guylines. I haven’t gotten to use this product yet but I’m looking forward to it.

Creates a nice shady place to sit and dine/eat.Easy to set up with a couple of telescopic poles.Sheds water...reason I purchased was because my popup collapsed overnight after a heavy downpour. No problem with this tarp and it takes less room when transporting.

A heavy duty quality tarp with lots of tie outs. Not lightweight though. The guy lines are cheap and one began to fray after first use. I replaced those with guy lines I already had. I am strictly rating the tarp itself, I had no use for the pegs or guy lines. I got exactly what I wanted. An excellent cover for my hammock. It handled the wind and rain better than my previous lightweight hex tarp.

I'm primarily a lomg distance hiker/backpacker and I dont think this tarp is going to work well for that. I believe it would work well for car camping though. The tarp itself is fine. Stitching seems well done. It's not seam sealed, but I didn't expect it to be.My issues: The tarp is heavier than I'd like, and tie out points are cheap. I don't think they'll last long in a backpack getting knocked around. Plan to replace the line it comes with too. It's very low quality rope that has wayyy too much stretch to it. The tensioners are also awful. They slip constantly. And i wouldnt trust the line system in any kind of wind. The stakes seems fine. No issues with them so far. I have a feeling this is going to end up as a summer sun shade for my back yard.

Used it for the first time last weekend. Worked great. Had a good, heavy rain and used it to cover our tent to keep nice and dry. Next day moved it and was great for shade. Bigger than I expected, but it has plenty of tie downs for many options.

The tarp material is quite good, but it is not ultralight; waterproof seams taping can be better; cords are reflective and of decent quality; stakes have a good design although the finish is a bit rough. I bought the Hex 12x10, which was delivered from the USA to Canada within a week, with no surprise customs duties/taxes/brokerage fees beyond the initial delivery charge at purchase (Some other delivery services will surprise you with a hefty brokerage fee, entry prep fee, COD/online fee, taxes, etc). This Hex tarp does not really have a hexagon shape - it's more of a 12x10 rectangle, with 2 of the edges being very slightly 'bent'; there are only 4 actual corners/points, plus the slight bents. The shape is not like the pictures on the product page - the pictures look like there are 6 distinct corners/points around the edges. I would buy these tarps again, but next time I would opt for the rectangular or square shapes instead of the 'hex' version, even though the faux 'hex' shape might still offer a little bit more wind stability.

I purchased this for a backpacking trip in the PNW. I can’t say enough great things about this product. Very waterproof and packs down small. Tons of tie spots to manipulate it for any shape of shelter. Came with some nice line and stakes. Only issue I could see was that it doesn’t bead off water well. It Works well for a shelter and kept everything dry underneath, but when I went to pack up I struggled getting the water off, so packing it back up it was pretty much stuffed wet into the stuff sack. I say this because if it’s not neatly folded and dried it’s kind of heavy and awkward. Other than that great price and great product.
