I have now made my first 2 hard cheeses using this Gouda Hard Cheese Making Mold Large for Press. It is fairly small but, the measurements are listed in the description so, I'm not complaining. I don't have a press yet, so I used a tray which I loaded a few heavy items on and replaced those to heavier when it was time to flip the cheese in the mold. Cheeses are now aging and I'll have to see in a few months what they're like. I'm happy with this cheese mold!

Looked great, thought it was awesome but once the curds got loaded up, biggest flaw was the huge different between the press part diameter and the diameter of the mold, bought it so that my cheese wouldn't developed that lip around the top of the press. Idk imma try n cut out an old cutting board to make it more snug

It came just as ordered,was a lot smaller than I thought,tried to use it for the 12 litre milk recipe but it is too small.I guess I under estimated 3 lbs size.Thanks for great service will soon try to make a smaller batch.

I'm furious I'm used to use this tipe of rennet but the pocket that came with the mold made me waste over $30 of milk. I'm beyond frustrated with the product.The mold is not the best.

I wouldnt call this a large mold. For a standard recipe, I had to split my curds in half and press them seprately in 2 batches. Thats highly inconvenient. And another issue I had is that tge too doesnt fit flush with the bowl so when pressing I often have lots of curds trying to escape from the top. I would return this however I bought it months back and I am just now trying it.

Follower is too small for the mold. The mold will not hold 2 gallons worth of curd.
