Problems of being unable to eliminate noise:
1. This model cannot filter out noise caused by non-common ground, such as electromagnetic interference, etc. Be sure to confirm the source of the noise yourself before purchasing.
2. Because everyone has different expectations and perceptions of the isolation effect, some customers think it is good, and some customers think it is not good.
This product is an audio common ground isolator, which is effective for the noise caused by the common ground of the sound source and the receiving device.
Simply put, common ground means that the grounding points of the two electrical appliances are not at the same point. Due to the difference in grounding resistance, the noise is transmitted into the electrical equipment through the ground wire, forming interference. Because the grounding points of the two devices are different, common ground noise may be generated. In the car audio, there is a kind of audio interference, a buzzing sound similar to whistling. The frequency of this noise will change with the engine speed.
Therefore, this product can only eliminate the noise and current sound caused by common power and common ground products, and cannot eliminate noise caused by other reasons, so you need to confirm the source of the noise yourself.
Determine whether the noise is caused by common ground:
1. Use headphones to connect the AUX (3.5mm interface) of the car MP3 and car navigation. If there is no noise in the sound heard from the headphones at this time, it can be confirmed that the noise of the car equipment is caused by common ground.
2. Use an audio cable to connect a battery-powered mobile phone or MP3 (note that the mobile phone and MP3 should not be connected to any power source in the car, such as a telephone) to the AUX of the center console in the car, and play the music of the mobile phone. If there is no noise at this time, it can be confirmed that the previous noise was caused by common ground.
3. Computer, power amplifier, audio, CD: Use passive headphones to plug in the computer to listen to whether there is noise, and use the mobile phone to plug in the power amplifier and audio to listen. If there is no noise when listening separately, it is basically determined that it is caused by common ground.
4. After starting the car, the installed power amplifier has a current sound. Some models will also have a situation where the current sound is louder when the throttle is larger. This product can solve this problem.
5. There is a current sound between the power amplifier and the speaker or the audio. This product can be installed between the power amplifier and the speaker.
6. When a laptop is connected to a projector and an amplifier at the same time, noise is generated. You can connect the laptop to an adapter power source or use a battery. At this time, the noise disappears when you unplug the amplifier, or when you unplug the projector, the noise also disappears. Then you can add a common ground isolator between the headphone jack of the computer and the amplifier to eliminate the noise.

I have not done extensive testing to see if there is any degradation in audio output i.e. clipping of low or high frequencies. Worked to remove the noise of my charger plugged into my iPhone and audio out dongle plugged into my car stereo.

I used this on my 2008 Honda Goldwing motorcycle when I added XM radio. There was a buzzing before, but this item cured it nicely!

I've put up with a hum in my speakers for a long time, thinking there was nothing I could do. I tried an A/B switch which was supposed to eliminate the ground feedback. No luck. I bought these and it was incredible. THEY WORKED!! No hum. No Ground loop! I'm amazed.

This really helped in one of my vehicles that didn't have bluetooth native. I had to run RCA cords from the front to the back and there was always excessive whine from the engine while I played music from my phone. After I installed this, no more noise.

This is a simple utility device to help improve your audio signal by eliminating ground loop noise.In terms of ground loop noise reduction, it’s very effective. In our car, it completely eliminated the hiss / buzzing created by plugging an external CarPlay unit into our Aux audio input.HOWEVER.. it also completely eliminated all bass and life from the music. There was a very obvious gain reduction you can offset by turning up your volume but the loss of all low end in the signal makes the product useless to me.Did some troubleshooting with different / higher quality cables; the included short cable is pretty cheap but it’s not the cause of the bass loss. It’s the isolator itself that’s doing it.Really disappointed and cannot recommend this..
