I have gone through a few different set ups for backpacking stoves and this just blew them all out of the water! Phenomenal. Sturdy, gas fits right inside of it for packing, perfect size for single hiker or with a buddy, best quality out there. So happy with this!!!!!!

The mug, lid, spork and pot will nest within the kettle and lid to provide a compact set.A mesh bag is included but not necessary since the lid fits tightly.The bag is meshed for ventalation, has a reinforced bottom section and a good drawstring suitable to hand from a backpack.The kettle is aluminum, as is the lid and inner bowl.The plastic liner provides insultation.The kettle handle folds down nicely and the top of the handle is grooved for centering.The lid has a aluminum loop for removal.The spork folds up compactly and the sliding lock keeps it stable.Overall a good set for backpacking with a reasonable weight.

I have never been let down by GSI products, and this kit keeps up the good name.If I had a smaller tank I would be able to test the packability fully but I do not have a shallow tank only taller ones. Diameter wise though it sits quite nice inside.I initially thought the utensil was going to be an isue until I realised that the slider helps to lock the spring from moving. Simple and effective.Overall build quality is on par with standard GSI products, so pretty good. Nice weight and easy to unpack and use. Nice fit on the sleeve for the cup to help you enjoy the fresh hot bevy you made.Very happy.
