Followed the quick-start guide to repair my patio furniture. The intuitive controls and color-coded settings made first-time welding feel safe. Minimal sparks/smoke compared to my neighbor’s welder. Finished 3 projects without burning down the garage (wife approved!). If a clumsy dad like me can make pro-looking welds, anyone can.

I’ve abused this machine welding cattle guards and tractor attachments all season. Even dropped it in a mud puddle – dried out and worked fine. The anti-stick function saved me countless rookie mistakes. Unlike my old buzz box, this actually makes welding enjoyable.

Works ok with 3/32 rod, not so well with some different brands of rod or with larger rod.

This works far better than expected but the way it holds the rod makes it really hard to hold it in a way that's comfortable and makes it hard to keep the rod moving smoothly.

This welder did nothing but make a noise. It did not weld anything. I packed it up and sent it back. I will try a different brand because a friend of mine has one (not the JZU), and he loves it. I had no problem obtaining a refund.

I turned it off went in to eat came back out to finish up and it never came back on. I returned it and never bought another. But it was great for those 30 minutes.. lol see photos, of course I’m no welder so it’s just a rookie job…
