Block shape should suit your specific needs, whether flat for larger surfaces or contoured for more intricate work. High-density sponge is soft, and flexible, and provides cushioning while sanding. It allows for better control and reduces the risk of leaving scratches on the surface being sanded.
The sandpaper blocks come in different grit sizes, which determine the coarseness of the sanding surface. Lower grit numbers indicate a rougher surface for heavy material removal, while higher grit numbers signify finer surfaces for smoothing and finishing.
Suitable for both wet and dry polishing, our Diamond Polishing Hand Pad is great for polishing stone, ceramic tiles, glass, metal, and wood, making it an essential tool for both professional and DIY enthusiasts.
Our Diamond Hand Pad is suitable for a range of applications, including removing burrs, smoothing surfaces, and bringing out a beautiful shine. Great for use in stone polishing, tile trimming, glass finishing, metal polishing, and wood deburring.

The sand sponges say they are different grit, but you can not tell the difference. They are not labeled.

so they claim the number is NOT the grit but when the items new it pretty much is. sanded through 5 layers of clear in just a few quick scrubs. this stuff is massively aggressive. Ill stick to normal 1600 grit paper, thanks. I wish it was as fine as claimed though the feature of holding water in the sponge while wet sanding would have been pretty cool.

Not even close to the correct grit. Here is a picture for comparison. 3M 1500 grit paper next to brown block. More like 240 grit
