Our sandpaper grits are made of high grade silicon carbide that is the most durable of all synthetic abrasives. Silicon carbide is good for sanding a wide range of materials, including plastic, metal, hardwoods, and softwoods.

Recommend Using Way:
60 to 180 Grit Sandpaper: Coarse grit sandpaper is a good choice for rough sanding and removing scratch, like rust removing.
220 to 400 Grit Sandpaper: This grade grit is used for light sanding between coats of finish and to sand metal and other hard surfaces, like drywall finishing.
1200 to 1500 Grit Sandpaper: This grade grit is used for sanding between coats.
2000 to 3000 Grit Sandpaper: This grade grit is used for buffing.

This is a nice set to have in a supply drawer. I like the quantity and the variety. The only negative for me is the size of the sanding block which I found to be a bit big and clunky. I would buy this again though despite my criticism as I think it is good value for money and I will make my own sanding block.

I am trying to resurrect an old family heirloom a big roasting pan that will hold very large turkeys at Christmas or Thanksgiving. I made the mistake of putting this aluminum pan in the dishwasher and the modern soaps badly discovered at nobody would feel comfortable eating from a pan that looks so gaudy. so we didn't use it this Christmas. then I read about how some people are reclaiming aluminum pots and I bought this with some various grades of sandpaper and when the weather gets a little better I will finish the job outside of sanding the pan

Sandpaper lasts very little even if wet-sanding, using a brush to unclog it helps but the finer grits don't last much. You get what you pay for. Will spend more money next time on better quality sandpaper.

When you don't have an electric sandblaster..., down to small finishes, even very very small ones, you can't even imagine what the smallest grains are for..., perhaps to (almost) polish ?Used for; (for the moment) refresh cutting boards (kitchen) and for an enamel correction...The PLUS (+)Sandblasted block+ LARGER than you imagine in the photos+ Perfect adhesion in the hands, like on papers.+ Strong HOLDING of the paper on the block.+ Very EASY, QUICK to INTALL+ Flexible layer (a kind of rigid foam PVC)* between the block and the paper.* Also serving for a smooth soft movements on matters and like as anti-slip (keeps paper in a better state, long time), for the sandpaper.Sandpapers+ Respectable GRAIN scale *...* Provided you accept that some will probably never serve.+ Nothing to complain about the SOLIDITY of the paper.Finally...+ Everything is practical and compact in a tool storageThe least (-)Nothing so far!* If there is a problem, I might update this review.QUALITY-PRICE ratio: Very good! It's nice for the cost. I wish it was at least solid plastic an not hollow and flimsy feeling when u grab it tight. But for the cost - it will work for what I need it too.
