Works great. I bought a pair and tested it off network / point to point with a cat5e cable at about 100 feet (33m) and the two units connected immediately and I had video/audio. My STB has UHF remotes, so I don’t need to use the IR feature — but these boxes seem to have an IR extender built in if you need that.Currently, these units are on my actual network. They acquired DHCP and I have the same experience - perfection. I have ordered a single extender to add another TV to viewing. I believe you can have quite a few of these viewing one source.
