Installation Procedure
1. Insert spiral stake into the ground.
2. Use the Handle or Electric Drill to Drive the Stake. Turn the handle clockwise to screw the stake into the ground.
3. Secure the 304 stainless steel heavy-duty buckle to the stake. Ensure it is tightly fastened to prevent any movement or detachment.
4. Attach the rotating buckle to the heavy-duty buckle on the spiral stake. This allows your dog to move freely without tangling the leash.

Works so good! I bought this for my mini schnauzer to be able to hangout outside without being able to run off. It gives him a ton of distance! The cord is strong and I love that it comes with the tool bar to be able to spin it into the ground!

This is a heavy duty dog tie-out cable. The cable is 30 foot long with a spring on the end which I like. I generally only have to stake out one of my dogs. My dogs weigh around 60-75lbs. So not extremely large. The package comes with the spiral shaped heavy duty stake, tools to put the stake in the ground, is very versatile and appears durable. I can take this with me when I go out hiking or camping, traveling... The set-up does not take up a lot of space. I like the swivel as it it work very well in allowing my dog to have a bigger space without adding another length to the cable or using a cable from tree to tree . This is a good value because it works well and will allow me to tie out my dog safely when needed.

Okay, the steak is great. It's well built and works perfectly. It even drilled into dirt with rocks in it with easy (and a power tool).The issue is with the cable tie. It's supposed to have a lock on it... and it does... but the lock doesn't screw and it pops down with the simplest of effort. If you have a dog that runs around, they can knock that lock down really easily. If it's important to you to have that lock work and work well, this is not the set for you. This is really for small dogs, not big dogs.I personally will be using the steak with another tie out cable that offers more security. Our dog has gotten off of clips like this one in the past and we are not willing to risk it.

Total overkill for my small dog, but perfect for my son's German Shepard. Both the stake tie out and accompanying cord are built to last. This should be all I'm going to need to tie dogs out for a very long time.I like the spring attached to the end of the cable, which allows the dog a little warning before he's run as far as he can go while being tied down. Most dogs will catch on very quickly to this which will help avoid injury. The clasps are also easy to work with.It's very handy to have a socket included so you can use your drill for easy installation, or do it the old fashioned way with the bar handle which is also included.Everything about this item is quality, from all the actual parts and pieces, to the workmanship of the whole unit. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this item.

This dog tie-out set is much better than the one i had before. It is VERY heavy duty, and possibly overkill for my 30 lbs dog, Archie. I feel like this would be effective even for a big dog. It has sone serious weight to it. The ground finally softened up enough to put this in the ground. Despite it's heft and size, the handle made it pretty easy to get in the ground. Once he's locked and loaded, he can run around d like his normal manic self and it doesn't go anywhere. I really like the buffer spring because he has been dumb enough to misjudge cord length in the past and choke himself. That hasn't been a problem since I put this in. I'm very happy with the quality of this. I suspect it's won't be needing another one for a long, long time.

Does what it is designed to do. The cord is long enough that my dog can run around the yard a bit but still not get stuck around any trees or bushes. Seems to be sturdy enough. I like that there is a rod that is used to help screw this into the ground. The cable is covered so it shouldn't rust and the connections appear to be impossible to pull apart.
