Perfect kit for DIY home use! Durable and well made pieces. Easy to set up and use. Good value for your money set. Works great! No issues with jamming or otherwise. Love that it came with a case to hold all the pieces, with slots so they're easy to find too!

These stripping tools perform as well as you could expect. There is a bit of a learning curve trying to use the twisting bits, but once you get it down, it makes the job super easy. The case is convenient to keep everything organized for the next use.

Cons:Will not strip old wire with the thicker sheath. I have a house from the 70's and it will not strip the wire - won't even go into the stripper. I tried using the 10awg to strip some down first but it didn't work.The wire twisters are hit and miss, I had better luck just using the wire nut tool. It's part of this set so no big deal.Pros:Easy adjustable length strip.Strip comes off in one peice easily and in just a moment.Tools are heavy duty - feel durable.Solid case to keep them orgaized.Wide range of AWG sizes though I will likely only ever use 12 and 14.

We are working on an addition to the house. When we built the original house I did all the wiring by hand, mainly by working through books and YouTube videos to get hints on technique. I never saw a wire-stripper-drill set up.Recently I ran across a video featuring the wire stripper and capper and was awestruck. So, I picked up this kit, it has it all!! The ¼” hex shank fits my DeWalt screwdriver/drill beautifully and the strength that the drill offers makes it a lot less painful than my last experience doing it by hand.The kit includes tools in a variety of sizes for different gauge wire, as well as the color coded wire caps. It works perfectly to strip off the coating from the wire, twist all the wires together and then a tool to twist on the cap. If I need to get to something already in the box, the length of the drill and tool offers let me do it, so I don’t to undo everything to get to it.
