Perfectly sized for my stall shower. Sturdy, stable and comfortable . the ability to fold up for storage easily is such a bonus! So easy to assemble. Great directions.

So far so good. It took around 10/15 minutes to put this shower chair together. It has been used by a 200ish lb, 6ft ish male for about 2 weeks before leaving a review. So far, no issues have been reported. It is a bit smaller than the previous bench style shower chair and I worried about it holding up to use. However, it seems easy to assemble, decently comfortable, and holding up at least for the last 2 weeks of daily use. Any issues I will change my review

Instructions show the wrong bolts going into the wrong wholes but it's a big enough difference a cave man can do it.

We’ve tried a few different varieties. I would definitely consider this more of a stool than a chair in that the more expensive chair options have better backs and handles for stability while bathing. That said, this is a good stool if that suits your needs. I ordered this for someone who can’t stand in the shower as long as they used to and as a result, could lose balance or at best, just can’t do a good job cleaning up. This allows them to sit and take their time with their removeable showerhead. We can’t test the full 400 limit as stated, but we’re halfway there and so far so good. For larger people, I don’t know how comfortable the seat will be, you may need a wider one. The biggest benefit here is that it has a smaller footprint than most so if you have a more narrow tub/shower enclosure, you shouldn’t have a hard time making this work. More than that, it’s very easy to fold up and move which is great if the bathroom is being used by more than the one person who is using this. It seems sturdy and secure. It didn’t stain or get dirty more than we expected but be careful with soap residue and hard water because that stuff can layer up fast. Give it a nice rinse and wipe down when done. The accessories were a nice added value.

I have larger size walk in shower but no seat. Sometimes it is just nice to sit down. This folding chair is perfect. I can store in closet when not in use and just pull it out when I want a longer and more relaxing shower. The other day I had some friends over and was short on chairs - then i rememered about this chair. It was perfect in a pinch and guests got a good laugh an my creative thinking!

The good, once assembled this stool is absolutely unmovable. The bad, the assembly directions are totally unclear, but on the other hand, once you figure them out they are nearly impossible to follow anyway. The parts are not built to fit the seat properly, the units do not line up with the seat screws without disassembly of the remaining parts, strong language, and a willing muscular helper. If you ever get it built be prepared to pull off the legs on a regular basis as they are designed to act as water traps and will undoubtedly end up causing corrosion and growth of unwanted life forms. As this stool is designed for someone that is having a hard time standing in a tub they will never be able to assemble it on their own. It is solid once built and will make an excellent stool for working on cars. The two stars given are due to the solidity but most people will never get that far.

The curved seat at the lower setting goes from 19" from the floor in the middle to 20" on the sides (1" of rise across the curve) and the higher setting only goes up 0.7", so not a lot of adjustability and skews towards the higher side. Although a nice part is this has cross bars across the legs so you can put your feet up for easier access bending down.Somewhat difficult to assemble given how simple it is. The screw holes on the base don't actually contact the bottom of the seat so you have to start all 4 screws then tighten them down evenly to avoid tilting the seat. And then the cross bars require a hex key instead of using the hand screws they give you for the base, even though there's clearance for hand screws here if they just made it slightly less compact while folded. Btw, it's a bit thick folded, with the thickest point being almost 8 inches due to the curved legs and curved seat. Also the seat padding attaches via adhesive, which isn't great especially as the seat top is textured for use without the pad, so you're going to get a lot of crevices for water to get into if you stick the seat pad on and it's permanently attached. The pad would've been so much better if they had a few split pins to just attach it in a removable fashion, especially since the seat and pad already have drainage holes which could be used to put pins though (and makes lining up the adhesive critical).Very sturdy once put together though, and still not very heavy (about 6.5lbs) so easy to move around.
