So far, this lock has worked and is easy to setup. I like that it can attach to the seat pole when not in use. I haven't used it to lock up my bike in public yet, so I cannot account for in-action durability or security.

It was easy to change the passcode. Fits the HiBoy S2 nicely. Son loves it!

I've purchased and used many of these combination cable bike locks over the years for a fleet of bikes in a rental house. We need something that deters basic smash-and-grab theft, and this lock will do the job. None of these will stand up to a determined thief with bolt cutters, but that's not what we're solving for.For this lock, what was important for me is 1) the combo is customizable, 2) there's 4 dials (not 5 which is just silly), 3) the dials rotate smoothly. At 3.3 feet it's not going to work through multiple bikes or around both wheels, but that also makes it small and convenient, and I think that's ok for my intended use-case.

Overall very nice quality bike lock. Opens very smoothly once the correct combo is entered so I'm not concerned about it getting stuck or anything. And it lives outside, over a month now, and no rust anywhere. Cable is stiff and naturally wants to curl up, which makes it very easy to stow. Only slight complaint I have is that it's somewhat short, and combined with the stiffness, sometimes it's a little difficult to get around unconventional things like a tree or something. But otherwise it's great.

This bike lock works great. It was very easy to set up the passcode. It unlocks and locks flawlessly exactly as it should. It is definitely convenient to have on hand.

This is a great lock. We use these types of locks to keep our swinging gates closed at the end of our driveway. We have had several which always break after a while but this one seems to be a little more heavy duty than the others. It is really easy to use. The combination lock was easy to set up. The coils are strong and I think it would take some significant force to cut through this with a bolt cutter.

It sounds like the lock mount didn't work out as you'd hoped, especially with the handlebars not being compatible with your scooter or bicycle. It's great that you still find the lock itself useful and plan to carry it with you, but the compatibility issue can definitely be frustrating. If you still like the lock's design and features, you could perhaps look into an adjustable mount or a universal one that might work with different handlebars. Alternatively, you could also check if Hiboy offers any different mounts for various scooter models.

not all handlebars are the same. I bought this before I made a final decision on an electric scooter, and ended up going with a scooter of another brand. I had hoped it would be somewhat universal, since hiboy has so many different models and such- it's not.When I realized my scooter handlebar was too thick for the little mount, I thought I might be able to use the mount on my bicycle, but nope. So the mount may only fit the Hiboy brand, but the lock and the whole design is just still really cool. I do still plan to use the lock, I just have to throw it in a little bag when I do.
