I have had experience as an automotive terminal designer. These terminals are thin and fragile. Material thickness measures 0.023" in thickness compared to the OEM 480 series material thickness of 0.032". Crimps will not retain adequate pressure on the wire long term so soldering after crimping is a necessity. Be aware that the blades are very thin and may bend attempting to make the mating connection. Seller doesn't indicate the amperage rating for these terminals but I doubt they will handle more than a few amps. They have no mass to dissipate heat and will likely relax their shape over time with repeated heat cycles. Use caution when using these in automotive applications.

I like the quality of the plastic connectors and terminals for a great price. I had a voltage regulator malfunction and melted the factory connectors and wires. I was able to cut the heated wire back, except one I spliced, and used these connectors. After completing the wire install the connectors went together and locked with a snap that seemed easier and better than OEM.

This is one of the best values I have ever found on Amazon. Very high quality. Housing made from Nylon instead of cheap brittle plastic. Terminals are high quality brass. They crimp great if you used the correct crimping tool for open barrel terminals. Photo is crimp on a 12 gage wire with a pretty thick jacket using an open barrel crimping tool. Prefect!
