This is direct replacement for a vogelzang wood stove. And half the price. Ive had this wood stove for 20 yrs and the replacement blowers are very expensive from the factory. I spent a ton of time looking for just the motor to put in my squirrel cage and there hard to find and about the same $ as this whole unit so i gave this a try and super glad i did.I would highly recommend these.

I wanted to get away from fan noise on wood burning stove. That part worked! The problem is the motor noise. It's capacitor started and the voltage hum is terrible. Looking into adding some inductors to see if I can reduce the motor noise
