When I originally ordered this, I thought my 2020 Yukon XL had a factory controller, but the option for the switch assemply wasn't ordered with the car. After getting this, I realized shortly that this switch is only that, the controller switch. But you actually need the factory controller also installed and then you need a dealer to program the canbus to use the new switch and controller. So, just beware, if you are replacing the switch unit because of failure, this switch will work. But if you never had a switch in the first place, while you can install it in the blank spot, it won't controll your brakes.

Unfortunately I ordered this item not realizing that my Yukon didn't have the option to just hook it up. But shipping was fast and easy. Item looks like it's good quality. Will see if I can get the necessary items to hook everything up. Will update review if I'm able to get it working. Overall still happy with item.
