It's a truss rod cover- it fits and the script is acceptable. It does not come with screws.

My original truss rod cover, believe it or not, was stolen at a gig one night.. I didn’t have one on my guitar for almost 4 years, and I didn’t really care.. just made it easier to set my neck.. Then I happened across this one one day when I was looking for pickups for my SG kit guitar.. Since my Les Paul is a white and gold custom, I bought it hoping, (but not expecting) it might fit.. it fit perfectly.. The only thing I had to do was find gold screws for it, so I bought brass screws instead. 😎

This is just as nice as my original gibson lp cover!Yes I'm putting it on my epiphone custom and I will have to drill 2 extra holes but still looks killerThe writing is screen printed on just like gibson does theirs very nice 2 ply black and white.You can see in my picture how nice it is compared to a cheap knockoff cover like the standard cover in the pic

This is a beautiful replacement cover. This one is much nicer than others I have bought in the past. Very nice,authentic looking, well crafted piece for your project.
