2 stars because I'd like the placement and options....if they didn't break. They broke just putting them on, not to mention ridding. I was careful not to over tighten as I've heard of the bolts breaking from others. Still they snapped right away. Not a quality item at all. Consider these will hold your mirrors, which are pretty important/costly.

Does exactly what you want it to do, material could be a bit sturdier but for the price it's a good buy

The 1" is the correct size for my 1996 Honda Shadow Ace 1100 (VT1100). Yes, it looks like cheap pot metal but it fit the handle bars, the mirror went on as it should. Needed it for clutch side and the mirror threads were correct. However, since both brackets have the same screw tap not sure this would work on front-brake side. Didn't need it there and I'm not testing, just speculating. That would not be a good thing however. Nonetheless, I'm happy with this solution. I plan on replacing the original bracket but this is a nice temporary fix.

I couldn't position mine on a perfectly straight area of my bar, my clutch cable was in the way. I got as much straight/flat area as I could but when I went to tighten the clamp down it snapped with very little force. The clamp area is pretty wide as well so for my bars I can't get them on a perfectly flat section. If you have a large straight/flat area on your bars these will work fine and are a good price.

I bought these brackets to mount a set of Bluetooth speakers on the handle bars of my Harley Dyna. They are very solid and stay where you mount them. A very good product in my opinion and I am very pleased with them. Just remember that they are aluminum so don't over tighten them.

Used these to flip the mirrors on my rebel 300 and they worked perfectly. However the first set i got i tightened them too much and the bolt that came with them snapped. So i got a second set and some higher quality bolts and they've been perfect.

Installed it on my vlx and out of the box it looked like cheap casted aluminum. I was installing it and was just beginning to secure it when bracket snapped. Looked inside and saw the metal was full of bubbles and contaminates. Could just be a bad one but just letting y'all know my experience.

These work OK for installing mirrors on my Honda CT-70 motorcycle. I had to put some rubber beneath the mounts to get them tight enough on the handlebars, but they seem to hold well.
