I purchased this to use with my laser level and it works great. The laser level attaches to it easily and holds firm. For something that folds to such a small size the telescopic legs not only give you great height options, but also variable height options by leg, great if you're in a tight space and need one of the legs to be shorter to rest on a step for example. It's light, but solidly made and doesn't feel like it would be easy to break. The added hook gives you the option to add weight to the tripod to minimize the risk of it moving, which is important when you're using a map height and need to keep it perfectly still once you've signed up your lasers. Well worth the money.

This tripod is good for anyone looking to get precisely-aligned, level shots. It's lightweight, so it’s easy to carry around, but still very sturdy. The swivel head lets you adjust angles easily. I like that it has a bubble level to make sure everything’s perfect. The quick-release plate makes it easy to switch cameras. It's a good choice for a tripod.

We hung our picture ledge today and this tripod worked so perfectly. We had been propping our lazer level up in very shaky operations since we've been in the new house and have been hanging things up, even trying to use our skinny iron stair rails and wedging other things underneath it to keep it steady. It been a complete annoyance so when I saw this tripod I knew I had to jump on it right away. It's very easy to use, although I would definitely recommend taking a run through the direction before use because you can really miss some of the very helpful functions and info if you try to go it alone and have not used one of these before. I love the crank feature that makes it easy to telescope a bit more up and down to get the desired spot and the locks all work very well and don't loosen while using and moving around. My only complaint is that it is a tad overpriced, considering you can get a Dewalt or Bauer brand tripod for under $45.

This tripod is much sturdier than other inexpensive tripods. It's because of this that I am giving it 5 stars. I'm sure if you compare it to other more expensive tripods it would compare, but for the price I think it's great. I do think it is slightly bulky but that's probably why it is so strong.

This Huepar Lightweight 63-Inch Adjustable Tripod is a fine quality yet inexpensive tripod well suited to various types of photography (portrait, macro, landscape, time lapse, and long exposure), holding a laser level on construction sites, etc. It can be used as a video tripod also in a pinch, alhough it lacks viscous dampening on the horizontal and vertical axes. It's well-made of plastic and aluminum and has various convenience features including a nice zippered storage and carrying pouch, a carrying handle on the tripod body, a bubble level on the pan head and a circular bubble level on the tripod base, as well as a 1/4" to 5/8" threaded adapter. The plate to which the camera or other device to be held is mounted, and can be quickly removed with the flip of a release lever for easier attachment to the device, for quick lens swaps, etc. There is a crank-up center post for quick height adjustments. That's not something that is always found on low-priced tripods, but it's a great feature (practically mandatory for me). The center post and crank mechanism are plastic, however, which is OK but not as smooth and precise as it could be had these components been made out of aluminum. But that would have driven up the cost, so I'm willing to live with it.Although the product ad does specify the maximum height of the tripod, it seemed a lot taller to me in person, which is a good thing. With the controls all locked down it's fairly stable, but if additional stability is needed (in high winds, or when taking time exposures at night for instance) there is an integrated hook at the bottom of the center post on which a weigh can be hung for an extra stable experience. The heaviest camera I have is a Nikon DSLR with a long zoom lens (as shown in one of the photos I attached to this review), and this tripod has NO problems with that amount of weight. I have other tripods that I use, but this one is my new favorite!
