I liked the quality of this product. What I also liked is if any part fails to work it can be fixed by replacing the parts easily unlike the Harley version which does not have any replacement parts available. With this product you can purchase all of the components separately. We owned the Harley version and the hookup cables failed and there were no parts to replace them. Also these are half the price of the Harley version.

We previously were using factory half helmet headsets. They were uncomfortable and had poor sound. These headsets with pockets fixed all of our issues. They are labeled as full face but they work great in half helmets. Speakers can be moved around in pocket to line up with your ears and they're comfortable all day. sound quality is much better than the factory ones we were using before.

Did not work with my 2015 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic. Every time I pushed the "push to talk" button a gawd awful screech blasted my ears. It didn't matter where I had the squelch set. It didn't matter how low or how high the volume was set. SCREECH!!!I eventually ordered a new set directly from Harley and it works fine. No screech. The iMC unit's headset looks idtentical. And the 7 pin connector that connects to the bike looks the same too. The only part that is visibly different is the connection between the headset's wire and the bike connector's wire. The iMC version has a round connector there, while the Harley version has a more rectangular connector. I don't know if this one difference is responsible for the screech or not.

Bought these after a lot of investigation. We really wanted wireless bluetooth, however, for the price, and because of the reviews, we decided on this headset. It was easy to use, and linked easily to our bike comm system. The sound is great and the ear muff style really knocks down the road noise. Absolutely love the behind the neck and not being ear buds. Was able to wear my doo rag over it, as well as half helmet with no problems. The only problem we had was in my "user" error in plugging in once and not being lined up straight with the pins. Other than that, we really like these headsets!

I bought the iMC motocom headsets for my wife and me. We live in a helmet free state and either do not wear a helmet or just a half shell. To start with I did the typical man thing and did not read instructions. The first time we used them, we had a lot of wind noise but could talk to each other but could not listen to the music except when we stopped. About 30 minutes into our ride, we ended up taking them off and putting them in our tour pack. When we got to our destination, I took the owner’s manual out and adjusted the microphone sensitivity. We used them on the ride home, still had some wind noise but could hear the radio and could talk to each other. It has been a month since we bought the motocom headsets. With the microphone adjusted low, we still have wind noise but they seem to work as designed, we have to keep the mic almost touching your lips. As for other saying they are as good or better than the OEM, I could not say as we have never used the ones that came with our old Ultra or our new one, they are still in the boxes. We do have an echo when talking to each other sometimes, there is a lot of wind noise when cruising 75-80 mph down the highway. If you have a strong cross wind, the music would cut in and out even with the microphone adjusted low. Some of the reviews stated they it hurt their ears, our longest ride without stopping was about 3 hours, they did not hurt our ears, we were both wearing our half shells on the trip. My wife and I like them, we don’t have to yell at each other anymore, typically we don’t use them for our short rides around town. When we ride the Black Hills or if we are going to be riding for a half hour or more we normally wear them. Over all I can’t give them a 5 because of the wind noise, echo when talking and having to keep the mic right at your lips.

Great price compared to HD head set. I had the Harley head set. It never fit well, always made my ears hurt, was never impressed with sound. After a few uses the right speaker failed. I tried this one, fit great, very comfortable, sound is good, Mic works well. Recent road trip, third day out, left speaker failed. I got a return authorization, sending it back. Impressed with fit, function and sound enough that I am ordered the set again. I really just wanted an exchange, wasn't an option. I hope the new pair last longer and speaker issue doesn't continue to be a problem. Originally bought two sets, one for the wife, that one still works fine.
