Worked surprisingly well to pull either rounds with light strikes or bullets that were seated too deeply while reloading. There are 3 collets and you can pick the smallest one that would work for your cartridge size and then screw tight the head to keep the cartridge in place. Make sure you whack the bottom of the hammer not the head where your cartridge is. Use a piece of wood as the base because I'm worried whether the plastic would hold while hitting concrete and also because it has surprising amount of force that may damage whatever you are hitting. My hard wood base is all banged up after several hits.It may take several hits but eventually the bullet will come out with the powder at the bottom of the hammer. Check the head between hits to make sure it didn't uncrew itself.

This puller is plastic, it works. I cannot estimate the life span but it's useful for minimal work.

So far this hammer has saved me a few times. Works great for me although I don't have any experience with any others to compare it to. Always hit it on a piece of wood. I use a 4x4 block. The collets hold the case well and takes only a couple of whaps to get the job done. As with all plastic, the powder can cling to the edges so a quick wipe with a dryer sheet where you can reach will fix that. Again, I cant compare this to any other brand, but this one works as it's supposed to.

I am extremely satisfied with this product. It works flawlessly, and the vendor's customer service is excellent. After reading through the documentation and disassembly a few “errors” while setting up my progressive machine, I reached out for the collet O-ring size for future reference. The vendor responded within an hour—very impressive!I was pleasantly surprised to find that all the cartridges I currently reload, as well as those I plan to reload, are included in the list, including .35 Remington.I previously owned a well-known brand for many years, but it got misplaced during my move. This unit seems to match the quality and functionality of that brand, while offering a more user-friendly and convenient collet design.

I used this on some 38 special cartridges I wanted to swap the bullets out of. Both loads were 125 grain bullets with +P loadings. Quite a bit of powder. I just wanted to swap them to see if they'd work. It's difficult to prevent powder loss from the original loading since the device can throw the bullet and case contents into the receptacle. You have to get the bullet to about 1/16th or so left in the case, then you can gently pry it out. That being said, I was able to beat the hell out of this thing and it didn't even crack. Very impressed with the abuse it suffered trying to remove a bullet that had been sealed and stamped into the case. It took a long time, but I managed to get the bullet free. Wouldn't use this for pulling bullets consistently. Might break long before 50-100 rounds. Better to use it to gently adjust the seating depth. Cheap way to fix a difficult mistake to fix.

This bullet puller looks like the one made by Frankford, but it's complete junk. I was given a big box of unknown handloads, so I went to pulling them down to salvage components. My Frankford puller had recently cracked after years of hard use (I seem to be given other people's old handloads frequently) so I decided to try this one. It failed after three pulls. The collets are apparently made out of some sort of pot metal, because the lip on the collet that interfaces with the cartridge rim sheared after pulling three bullets. The entire cartridge flew forward, I found little silver shavings inside the puller cavity and the collet would no longer retain a cartridge for even a soft tap. See attached picture for the collet metal pieces I recovered from the powder charge. So much for this piece of junk. I'm returning to Amazon. I will go pay the slightly higher price for a kintetic puller from a reputable brand.
