Loading must never be made at an angle greater than 45 degree from bolt centerline. At any angle of 45 degree, rated capacity is reduced to 1/4 of the tabulated value. Loads should always be applied to lifting eyes in the plane of the eye, not at some angle to this plane. Ultimate load is five times the working load limit. 3500 pounds working load limit. 5-1/2-inches thread length. Shank measures 5/8-inches diameter by 24-inches length.

I ordered this to hold together two pieces of wood to hold up a fence (instead of mounting the fence to a tree that was in the way). It worked extremely well - a two foot bolt is hard to find. I am also glad it came with the nut. All I needed to do was get a couple washers.While the picture shows a lip just below the eye, my bolt did not have a lip. That's no problem, since I was able to buy washers at the local hardware store.

Just as described. A 24 inch long eye bolt, galvanized. 5/8 inch nut included, which I didn’t expect.
