NoPOE HAT this century so this is the next best thing.I got tired of waiting on the official 5 POE Hat.

I have a Pi 5 mounted away from any power in a closet and this was just what I needed to power it. I was previously going to try to run a power cable to it but I already had an ethernet cable running to this closet so it knocked two birds with one stone. I've not had any issues with it to speak of and it seems to run nice and cool.

I got this to power my raspberry pi that is in remote location. I like this POE splitter because I can have power and Ethernet to my raspberry pi using one cable. I don't like this splitter because the box has no place to mount it or secure it. The only way I was able to hold it down is by using zip ties along the cable portion. I do like that it has been working non-stop without an interruptions and power and data is flowing perfectly. The splitter box is very well made and distributes heat very well.
