We installed the disposer and it works perfectly... Very quiet and efficient. We bought this model specifically because it said the cord was included. It was not. We had to disassemble the old disposer and use that cord which was extra work. So I docked it two stars for inaccurate description.

Excellent choice very quiet and most importantly kids won’t get fingers injured due to cover must be on for the disposal to start. This device is approved in my book for safety first . I’m going to stick with this name brand and model forever. Great choice for the money and I truly live this disposal. It we easy to install. Thanks

This is a great garbage disposal. What I love about it: it’s quiet, the unit is activated by turning the magnetized stopper, and it works great. I bought an extra large, deep kitchen sink, and this line does make a more compact unit so, make sure your dimensions are compatible.

what more can I say? The item in the picture was the same one I had to replace so I ordered it. the item I RECEIVED was taller and had the pipe attachment in a different place. I had to pay over $300 for them to change the pipes under my sink to make it fit. I would have returned it but the the item pictured is no longer available anywhere. Still, people should be aware the item pictured is NOT the one received !! Had I known, I would have shopped around.

This is the second InsinkErator Evolution Cover Control I've purchased. I bought the first one about 5 years ago and it is still working well and quietly. I've only had it jammed once when several banana peels with the stem on them were put into it at once. The jam was easily cleared. I especially like the fact that there is absolutely no way it can be turned on with your hand in it. I use it with a septic system and have never had a problem with the septic tank filling or stopping up. I purchased this unit to install in a vacation home and hope to get the same service from it.

Great 👍 piece of equipment. Love the safety feature of the cover so one cannot get injured. This is the second one I have had. Did a kitchen renovation and put new equipment in. Highly recommend this model.

I've been using the unit for 6 months now (mainly for food scraps) and it has been fantastic. The best aspect is the elimination of spousal arguments due to scraps of food left in the sink!

Take note.. this is NOT a Pro model. Pro models have a 9 year warranty. This is a normal Evolution Cover Control Plus, which comes with a 7 year warranty. The listing is very misleading.It's roughly the same price as the properly described version of this item, which should have been my first clue. Then others have pointed out that it's a 3/4hp motor, and not a 7/8hp unit.It's still a fine disposer, just move along if you're seeking a Pro model.

Quit working in less than a month of use. Currently waiting on the warranty repair man to saunter by. The repair company that Insinkerstor contracts with gave us a full day window as to when they will come by. So that's an entire day shot. They had never heard of this model before and told me that they don't have any parts on hand. If they need parts they will have to come back again. Basically Insinkerstor values your time at zero. Even the cable company gives you a two hour window.Considering just chucking it and buying a new one that can be installed at our convince.
