My timer had a timer motor with part no. WG1570-4 that went dead. This one, WG1570-5 fit perfectly. No modification needed.

Purchased as a replacement for a defective clock motor on a pool timer. No problems and works as advertised.

I ordered this motor to replace a WG1570-4 motor. It fit well but I had to use a 6-32 tap to thread one of the holes it lined up with. It wasn’t an exact replacement however once I cut the thread it fit great. The installation was easy and the motor is working perfectly. Thanks to another buyers review for pointing out you need to use a 6-32 tap to cut the threads.

220v pool timer stopped working and would’ve cost a lot of money to replace. This actual timing piece was all that was wrong and took about 5 minutes to replace. Very happy with the purchase.

I specifically chose (and paid extra) to buy this motor from Intermatic so there would be no compatibility problem. Mistake .This motor DOES NOT FIT the T101 Timer . So if your old motor is marked WG- 430-3 ,125v ,3A. Be aware this is the wrong listing for your motor. Repeat, if you have a T101 Timer (like mine) this OEM replacement from Intermatic won't fit. Even worse, when I spoke with Intermatic ("Bob") ,Intermatic have known about this problem but claim they can't (won't?) correct the Listing ! So I returned the incorrect item and bought a different brand here on Amazon for 1/3 of the price of the Intermatic clock motor. BTW you can buy an inexpensive repair kit for the motor or harvest the required part from other Intermatic clock motors - see youtube for details.Worse ,if you search 'clock motor T101' on the Intermatic company website - that is also wrong ! Just buy a Paragon timer instead?

The timer motor was a direct replacement for the original. A little less sturdy than the original but it was simple to install and my timer is now back in operation.

The issue with the timer was that one of the plastic gears had broken teeth. It was easily replaced and repaired. Just in time before setting up the Christmas lights around the house.

I bought the Intermatic WG1570-10D and received the Intermatic WG1570-5. They're the same but the issue is that the last number means upgrade. So I paid to have the most recent part and got the one in the middle... Still works but the original part in the timer failed after 18 months and I wanted to get the updated part and finally received the exact same thing.... we'll see how long this one lasts
