We've had our Roomba for over 4 years now with regular use. The original battery was no longer holding a charge. The Roomba would vacuum for a few minutes and return home. I was happy to find this replacement battery at a fraction of the cost of a new Roomba. Installation was super easy, less than 2 minutes. Remove 6 screws on the bottom of the Roomba with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the old battery, pop in the new battery, screw the 6 screws back in, and you're good to go!Our Roomba i3 is now vacuuming in full cycles again since replacing the battery.

I bought the factory replacement in large part because of short battery life reviews on the knock off brands. I installed the new battery, reset my Roomba and after a week or so of running it until it died to condition the battery. I have gotten very good battery life out of this so far, up to an hour and 10 minutes. The battery replaced was down to about 40-45 minutes of runtime after probably four years of use. If it holds out like this for a while, I will consider it a good investment.

The installation was very easy. After replacing the battery, I had to go through setup again, but Roomba didn't lose the map of the house. Prior to the new battery the Roomba was taking 3 charges to clean the house, normally it's 2. Now that the new battery is installed the Roomba is cleaning like new, 2 charges for the house and done. Just like a new robot. The original battery latest 3 1/2 years so I bought the OEM battery just to be safe. I look forward to many more years.

5年以上前に購入したルンバですが、充電エラーが頻繁に発生し、稼働時間も短くなっていました。ネットで調べて、充電部分の掃除をしたり、バッテリーを外して再起動したりしましたが、改善しませんでした。このバッテリーに交換してから、充電エラーの発生はゼロ、稼働も1時間以上になり大満足です。ルンバの買い替えも検討していましたが、バッテリーの交換だけで素晴らしいコストパーフォマンスになりました。

My original battery life got shorter so bought this cause it said original iRobot battery. After installed this battery, my machine doesn’t run more than 5 mins and keep going back home station. Tried fix but didn’t work. I put my original old battery, my machine runnning good. Decided to return this and order battery from iRobot website not from Amazon.

Purchased to replace the battery that comes in the iRobot. Fit perfect and the robot works so I would say it’s a good value for it’s money, less expensive then on the iRobot website

Purchased this OEM replacement battery for my i7. The pice is consciderably better than it was just a couple of years ago but that is how all things usually go. This was not actually my first purchase for replacing the original battery. Bought and off brand much bigger Mah battery of supposed same chemistry for twice the price of this unit. If that other one deliverd then that purchase would have been justified. Needless to say it didn't and was DOA and that is why I purchased the origihnal battery that you see listed here. Do note that my original battery is the one that came with the unit 5 years ago according to my robots BOD. I decided to replace the battery not because power was insufficient but run times started to noticably drop off and charging was becoming more frequent. The APP never indicated that there was a battery concern and honestly I am not sure if it does in this regard. It's not like it can't since it monitors run time, charge time, etc. so yeah IRobot get on that would yah? Either way i droppd this unit in and kept old one for a spare just in case. Put robot on charging station and let if full charge and sent it on a whole floor clean everywhere run. It only need to recharge one time as compared to 2 times previously and also completed the job in over an hour less time. Very satisfied with this battery from iRobot. Now only if iRobot offered a bigger Mah battery I would gladly purchase to get that one charge and done clean for bigger jobs! It should also be noted that these batteries are Lithium Ion technology and that chemistry/ charging infrastrucure does not allow for these batteries to become fully depleted. In fact if you recieve a Lithium Ion battery for any device and it is totally dead do not attempt to charge it thinking that it is ok since it is aleady damaged and may result in a fire if you do so.
