We use the cd player all the time and it works very well. Each time we use it the sound system is great. We love it.

Got this clock/radio for my wife as a Chtistmas present. SHE loves it. It fits perfectly on her night stand, the numbers are easy to read and the sound is wonderful.

We are struggling to get the CD player to play consistently. We have been following the printed instructions faithfully, but quite often the Cd's don't play at all, and sometimes they do play in part and sometimes all the way through. They are high quality Cd's that play on other devices without any problem whatsoever. We are extremely frustrated and baffled. My husband has been an IT professional for many years and has never seen anything like this kind of inconsistent performance in a device. The clock is okay and the AM / FM radio function is okay as well. We have been considering returning the device for a full refund.

I wanted a modern CD and AM/PM frequency radio. This radio got the looks and sound but is a nightmare to use. It should and could have been so easy but which ever engineer designed its use should be fired. Overly complicated and not user friendly at all. Every time the electricity goes out I need the instructions to reset. Cannot distinguish between AM morning so the first time I set it - the alarm didn't go off. So I cannot rely on it as an alarm clock. I bought it quite a while ago and to this day I still hate it - but it looks nice!

Reproduce bien CD. Buena recepción de radio. Le pongo solo 3 estrellas porque no logro colocar las memorias y no es práctico recorrer todo el espectro de radio para localizar una estación

My requirements were: Alarm Clock/Radio(AM/FM) with presets/CD Player/Dimmer for low light at nightBecause it did everything it was supposed to do, I couldn't give it less than a 3, and decided to keep it; here is why I didn't rate it higher:1. Sound: I would call the sound tinny, no depth; not good on the highs or the lows2. Alarm Clock: (1) Most alarm clock I have used have separate functions for setting the time and turning the alarm on/off. Frequently a switch to turn it on/off. This alarm clock doesn't. You set the time, then lastly you turn the alarm on/off. When the alarm goes off, you stop it from ringing just by clicking on the standby button. This is great if you use the alarm each day. But if you get up 1/2 hour early and want to shut the alarm so it won't go off in 1/2 hr, you cannot, without going through the whole set time process. This is a hassle, especially if the room is dark and you do not want to disturb anyone. The standby button only turns the alarm off when it's already ringing; it cannot be used to stop it from ringing on a particular day. (2) As others have stated, I don't like that you can't do anything with the alarm while you're listening to the radio or a CD.3. Presets: It has 20 presets for AM and 20 for FM. Here's the catch: You can only move forward, not backward. So, if like me, you frequently use only several presets and you want to go back and forth between preset 1 and 2, after you've gone to 2, you have to click 19 times thru 3,4,.....20,1 to get back to 1.4. Dimmer: The positions are high/low/off. We use the off, because low gives too much light. Works great during the night, but it's not a backlight, but the actual display, so when you the natural light comes in, you cannot see the numbers on the clock; it's actually off. The good news is that it will come back on after you press any button. The bad news is that you'll need to turn it off each night; not a big deal, but we got spoiled from a previous clock where we could see the time during the day, and have it completely dark at night, without having to reset each day.5. USB charger: Should be adequate for most devices. Output is 5V/.8A (800 ma). It gives warning if your devices demands > .8A, it may damage the radio &/or your device. If you want to use it to charge your devices, make sure in advance that they are compatible.6. I focused more on what disappointed me. There are things I like about it. I looks nice; has a small footprint. Overall I did not find it complicated, but not always intuitive for me. When I was stumped, the instructions were adequate to know what to do. I like that the volumn and tuning buttons are raised, so you can find them without visually looking; nice when you laying down, or it's dark.

My old (very old) clock radio on my nightstand had seen better days. Also, I discovered that the 'binaural' music I was sleeping to overnight - streaming on my phone - was using up a lot of internet data. So, I searched for a new clock radio that also had a CD player. I'm really pleased with this item. It has a lot of functions, and following the instructions, I figured everything out. I will say, it CANNOT multi-task! For example, if the radio is on, you can't turn off the preset alarm. If the radio is on, the USB charger will not work (all functions have to be turned off to use the charger). So my plan to listen to my music at night and charge my phone didn't work. If you want to listen to the radio, but wake to the CD ... that doesn't work. And, although I've set my presets on the radio a few times, it doesn't seem to remember them. But, for what I wanted out of it --- one radio station that I listen to during day or night - and the ability to play my binaural CD on sleep timer, or on repeat all night long - it does it! It looks good, not too big, has a dimmer, and the sound is really rich and great (better than my old one!)

I put batteries in it and ops checked the wake to CD feature. As luck goes, we had a power outage this morning when the wind blew a tree onto the power lines. When the power came back on, the time was correct and the alarm was still set. So far, my expectations have been met.Aug2020 update- The snooze function is not working correctly now. When the snooze button is pushed the alarm stops but there's a 50/50 chance that it won't go off again in 9-10 minute. took away 1 star
