Very beautiful stone had great colors in the right light. Was a little more rough cut then expected but will just end up shaping and polishing it up on all sides.

It's always a crap shoot with this kind of purchase, because no one item is the same and taste in appearance differs vastly. That said, I took a chance and purchased a stone in the 16-20 oz class. It arrived 4 or 5 days later. I opted for standard shipping. It was well protected. The stone at first was a little underwhelming. It had 6 distinct sides to it, even though the stone was rounded and polished nicely. It is wider at the base and tapers toward the top. It's about 4.5" tall. Overall it's larger than I thought it would be. One side, the one I call the front now...had a nice flash to it. Primarily gold with blue borders, it covers about 60% of the side and wraps around the top left and bottom right corners. Upon closer inspection, I was finding little bits of flash here and there. Taking it outside into the sun, I found all kinds of subtle and not so subtle flashes across another 3 sides. I seem to find new color every time I pick up the stone to marvel at it.This stone has really grown on me and I realize now, I got a real keeper! It is also finely cracked in many places, like tiny thin veins. I think the cracks, with the polish to set them off, really give the stone character. Unfortunately though, because of these cracks, I'm pretty certain if this stone was ever dropped....it would shatter into hundreds of pieces. So be careful! That's OK, it's still a great beauty. I'm going to order a few more...probably in the smallest size, to use in an epiphyte garden arrangement I've made. If most are like my stone, this is a great deal and a quality product. Would love to see some primarily blue stones if there are any out there. Thanks very much for my Labradorite.Update:I've ordered another 4 pieces in the same size and all of them have something good going on. Out of the additional 4, one is less intense than the others, but it's still a nice stone. I've found you have to unlock the secrets to these stones as there is something to find on everysurface...you just have to hit the piece with light at the right angle. Most will have at least one "show" side where there is obvious flash going on. The rest you might have to look for. I still find something new, with every piece, every time I pick it up and look at it. These are amazing stones and the fun for me is looking for all the good angles there are to get every color flash I can get. If you get a stone and it doesn't look like much...you probably just haven't got the right angles down yet. These are beauties well worth the money. I may buy a few more!

Just Beautiful! I now have two different sizes that i own. Also purchased one as a gift! Her comment was just as mine Gorgeous never seen anything like it. Both of us Love it an collect stones, rocks & crystals.I have been collecting since a child.The colors you will find are So Beautifuleach stone will be different as in nature.Looks like abalone shells are inside in places, others streaks of what i call blue lighting. Flakes of sparkles throughout stones.Now let me address this complaintIts a Rock, piece of Earth. Some areascolors are easy to see, some you need more lights to see or discover. Some stones will have more colors all different as nature. Polished well.Great Stone, Great PriceHighly Recommend

I did order a second one so will see how that looks too when it comes. I am mainly very happy compared to anything else of this size online that is natural. The fakes are flooding the market with dyes please do look that up and order here for a real nice piece. Shape is totally different than in photo my piece it is much more block (small brick) shaped than a narrow wedge. Also the best multicolor flash is on is hidden by way it was cut. I'm not sure why it was cut this way but is a natural product so understand these vary. Otherwise lots of little small blue flashes. Very High Quality it is not dyed and is not fake like much imported Labradorite online and is very nicely polished. May use it outdoors as a garden piece as does not pick up as much light to flash from viewing inside. Beautiful outdoors growing on me hourly.
