This is working great for me. The only problem I had were the screws. I don't know if it was the coating or bad threading but only 2 of the 5 went in smoothly. I ended up tossing them and putting in Button Head Hex screws, M4x6mm work perfectly. I had no problems with the thread of either the hing or solid side pieces.

Unlike some of the other reviews, I did receive screws that mated with the threaded holes on the hinge-plate and on the extension-plate. However, the holes on the hinge were not spaced to match up with the holes on the panel.As far as rack screws are concerned, I'm use to panels not coming with rack screws. That is good for me, since I like my rack-screw heads all looking the same. I buy these screws by the box, i.e. small box.

I have the 24 Port non-hinged patch panels on my rack and I tried this - it worked perfectly. It is easy to install and you can swing open the ports to change them if needed - I ended up purchasing another one because I liked it

This is going into an already populated 9U wall-mount rack. The hinge feature is helpful since my cables are routed as a bundle from the back to the front on one side of the rack. I can open the hinge and the cables don't bunch up when the patch panel is closed. This only works if you route cables past the hinge of the keystone panel.There was no damage to the paint and the numbers are clearly printed.As a bonus, you can use it as a better alternative to a 1U brush cover.Some drawbacks:The keystone holes could be shorter to grip the keystones more tightly. The jiggle aggravates my OCD.The keystones stand proud, but that would increase the fabrication cost.Threading on the ears are clogged with paint, so the screws do not go in easily. If you have an impact driver, use that to assemble.Comments on other reviews:The keystone holes are large, but my three different styles and brands of keystones all fit and do not fall out. The ridge and clip on the keystone must both catch. Nobleone's video shows keystones where the ridge is not engaged.The hinge is sturdy enough. it is made out of bent 16 gauge metal and the hinge pin is well captured. It will last far longer than the 16 times I opened it to plug in each keystone.
