My original lens hood broke years ago and I finally found a replacement. This works but it won't fit on backwards for when I pack up me camera for travel. Will need to find another place for storing it.

The Hood fits on my Pentax DA 18-270mm f3.5 to 6.3. It clicks nicely into place once you get the right spot to turn it on, mounts in reverse as well. Not sure how it compares to the original Pentax hood, since I never had it. I had hoped it would fit since the Pentax lens is made by Tamron.

I bought this at the same time as a Tamron 18-200 lens. The description says that it fits Tamron 18-250 and I couldn't find any hoods stating a fit with the most common of all 18-200 so I bought this one. It doesn't fit. No fault of the seller but Amaon has eally been going downhill over the past 5 years.

Use on a tamron lens, a bit more finicky than other more expensive brands to attach, but once you get the hang of it works as it should.

It was a replacement for the original that came with my Tamron lense. Fits my lense perfectly and far less expensive than with the name Tamron on it.

I got this because my camera slid and crashed into the side of the car causing the stock lens hood to crack. This was a perfect replacement for a great price.
