This is a perfect kit for trying a new hobby. The instructions and video where easy to follow. The stamped design was a great way to learn diff kinds of stitching.

Another fun craft kit! We buy a lot of these for doing community craft nights and this one was surprisingly popular. I was worried it's a skill that might be too involved for folks to learn in this kind of setting but the instructions were clear enough for people to follow along and still hold conversations. The thread color is a palette I really like even though these aren't going on anyone's wall since they're just learning tools. The designs are kind of fun and it also helps that it's affordable too. We'll likely get more of these kits soon since these were popular and only one is left.

I have been happily stitching away on these adorable little patterns the last few weeks in the evenings. The kit comes with four different colored pre-printed pieces of fabric as well as instruction sheets for each, needles, embroidery floss in many pretty earthy colors, tiny and adorable scissors, a needle threader shaped like a flower, and an good-sized plastic embroidery hoop. I did find that the pink floss was missing and a second brown hue was in its place so I did leave off one star, but I think it would still look pretty with the extra brown if I hadn’t used my own pink.Need a little extra help? Every stitch included has a QR code next to it in the printed instructions which leads to a very thorough bite-size video on YouTube so you may watch them being done on your phone as you work. I found this super helpful for the more complicated stitches where I needed a little boost of help beyond the well-written instructions and photos.I have been wanting to do some embroidery samplers to learn more stitches for quite a few years so I was super excited to find this kit. I highly recommend it.

This is a great set for embroidery beginners or people who are getting back into embroidery after a long hiatus (like myself). There are 4 pre-printed canvases to practice the most common embroidery stitches, plus a small image on each canvas to use some of the stitches you've just practiced. The set includes everything you need - a plastic embroidery hoop, scissors, a seam ripper, a needle threaded, multiple sizes of embroidery needles, and plenty of embroidery floss. The instructions are the best part of this set. There are written and video instructions for each stitch that you'll learn, as well as for embroidery basics (using the embroidery hoop, threading the needle, etc.) Both the written and the video instructions are very clear (but the music on the videos is a little annoying in my opinion). If you're looking to dive into the world of embroidery, this is a great set to start with!

I’ve never done embroidery before and got this as an Xmas gift. The patterns are SO cute and the accessories and instructions are very nicely organized and nice quality. The YouTube tutorial videos are fantastic. Much easier skill level than I expected. Only complaint - I wish the needle threader was more heavy duty. It broke bc it gets so much use. Also, wish it came with wax or something to help prevent the thread from tangling during sewing. Overall, love it and definitely recommend.

The instructions are really clearly done to teach each of the stitches, including the photos and how each stitch is explained. The aida fabric seems decent, not a lot of shedding at the edges and the different colors pop very nicely for each of the designs. My one big complaint is the designs aren't using the same stitches as the pattern teaches. So like doing the bee pattern teaches you a set of stitches that aren't what's used to then do the bee. So you either have to cycle through all the stitch lessons, and then circle back for the final pattern images, or hope you do it right making the pattern without practicing because the practice section for the stitches you need are on a different set. When you're aiming to teach beginners, the practice for the stitch, and the design using the stitch need to be on the same piece of fabric...
