Featuring soft velvet inner lining, double zippers and padded carrying handle, the Kaito RC500 is made with durable and premium quality EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) material and specifically designed for storage and carriage of Kaito’s renowned Voyager KA500 emergency radio. It is affordable, easy and convenient to keep the radio and its accessories neatly organized and well protected against accidental bumps and drops.
The RC500’s main compartment measures approximately 8 ½ ” X 5 ¾ ” X 1.5”, guaranteed a perfect fit for the Voyager. There’s also a secondary mesh pocket designed to store the radio’s accessories, for example, the power adapter, external antenna, USB charging cable, spare batteries, earphones, and the user manual for quick reference when needed.

This hard shell carrying case is designed for Kaito’s Voyager KA500 radio, and a few other Kaito radios, such as the KA450, KA550, and KA700. It may also serve as a general storage case for other gadgets, but it is NOT a universal case. To save your precious time and avoid unnecessary returns, it’s strongly recommended to measure your device prior to purchasing this case. If your device’s longest side exceeds 8.5 inches or its second longest side exceeds 5.75 inches or its shortest side exceeds 1.5 inches, the device will NOT fit in this case.

This case is amazing and I purchased it to protect my Alaska Northern Lights mini light lamp. The inside is soft so it will not mar the front of the light lamp. The zippered compartment is perfect for the cords. Enclosed are pictures of this perfect use for delicate items.

The case it self for the radio is fine, Two illustrations as a selling point are deceiving. My adapter, not as bulky, will not fit in the case what so ever and allow closer of the case. As a point to be aware of that it will not carry all accessories as it may claim. I am forced to carry the adapter separate. The case it self is sturdy. and fine to allow usb cable ,its adapter, and manual in the lid pocket.

The Kaito KA500 radio fits perfectly but the AC adapter will not fit in the case with the radio. I only have 2 complaints with the case first the AC adapter will not fit inside with the radio, that would really be nice if it did, second its not a hard case so if you drop something heavy on it the radio will be damaged (the case does offer some protection but you will not be able to sit anything heavy on it). Overall its a good value the only other option would be to buy a Pelican case which would be heavier and more expensive.

Manual photo were saturated in black. Made it hard to visualize the instructions, very cheap and poor printing. Built-in aerial not sufficient to block static noise.
