I bought this level to build an enclosed staircase that was 3 foot wide to avoid using my 2-foot level with a 2-by extender. It worked really well for this purpose, but I end up reaching for it for many other framing projects as well instead of my 4-foot because it is so much easier to handle. The bubble has just the right amount of spacing to the lines that you can quantify how far the surface is off from level (carpenters will know what I mean). For the price, it works very well and this is a fairly rare length out there.

See the title. I'm not sure there is much else to say about a level. I like the side view cut outs as it helps at weird angles.

I bought three of these levels to replace my older aluminum levels that I gave to my son. I bought a 4', 3', and 2' level. I like the sturdy design, and the easy to read bubble indicators. They are also grooved so that it is easy to align on round pipes/dowels, as well as on corners. I would buy them again if I needed another set.
