First of all I am a locksmith full time and ordered these in a pinch when I had a batch of 30 from my normal supplier be bad.I always check the keys before even opening them bu checking if they “click.” One of the keys did not, I took it out of the package and found marring around where you are ment to open the key. I opened it and it was missing the battery and button pad. No message back from the seller and Amazon has its normal “buy another one and send this one back?”Do not purchase these, it’s not worth your time.I am willing to change this review if the seller will send a replacement.

Bought 2 keys for my nephews 2005 Dodge Dakota that it clearly says that they are compatible with. Took them too a locksmith he cut them and was able to get them to crank the truck but the fobs would not work the door locks despite his best efforts. He tried several different ways for over an hour to get them to work but they didn’t. Still had to pay the locksmith $60 and didn’t have functioning key fobs with the cost of the keys and the locksmith we had a loss of ruffly $88.00. Key have been cut for our truck now so we can’t return them and we can’t get our money back from the locksmith as well, it’s not his fault that the fobs do not work. So we’re just lost $88.00 for nothing, fobs are useless.
